This is all the things I like. Most of comic and art related. Sometimes it's a great illustration. Sometimes it's a cool process tip. Check out my art blog at antoniotyler.tumblr.com

this is my spiderman oc! his design is based on the spider who bit him, a spinybacked orbweaver which looks like this:

and his superpowers are also based on it! other then the regular spiderman powers he also has a layer under his skin of discs made out of a tougher material that is harder to penetrate then skin like a natural armor, and he has retractable regenerating spikes he can shoot if he’s sorrounded or grab and use as a weapon. his name is probably the orbweaver
I like the idea that each spider person subconsciously patterns their costume on the spider that bit them.
I see this spark in you, it’s amazing. Whatever you choose to do with it, you’ll be great.

Hey, this post may contain adult content, so we’ve hidden it from public view.
OKAY SO I had a coworker who was otherwise a standard clueless Straight White Guy, but this dude loved his wife and he knew her real good.
And his wife LOVES shitty grocery store icing.
So the first thing she’d always do with any cake is shove her fingers into the corner and scoop off whatever abomination of a flower was on there and eat it off her fingers.
SO THIS DUDE
GOES TO THE STORE
AND HAS THEM MAKE A WHOLE CAKE OUT OF FROSTING
Brings it home to his wife for her birthday
She shoves her fingers into it and then they just keep going
FROSTING ALL THE WAY DOWN
He said the look on her face was the best thing he’d ever seen in his life
It gives me hope that even a clueless Straight White Guy knew and loved his wife enough to give her the perfect birthday present cake frosting abomination
And I love to imagine the conversation he had to have with the grocery store bakery.
That’s disgusting, what a good husband

“In fact, during the audition with Chris Evans, the script says, “Spidey flips into scene,” and Tom goes, “Oh, should I do that?” Evans is like, [sarcastically] “Oh, yeah. Yeah, you just flip into the scene kid. No, you just walk in.” He does it. A standing flip, jump, flip, land. Even Chris Evans was like, “What…what happened?” - Kevin Feige, producer and President of Marvel
You hire Spider-Man and you fucking got Spider-Man.
I find that it funny that Mr. Acrobat is like “Wat”
This year’s best halloween costume goes to theses Japanese art students -
Disney Animators Study Their Reflections in Mirrors to Draw Classic Characters’ Facial Expressions
For decades, professional animators have relied on mirrors and their own facial expressions to be able to produce the dynamic, expressive characters that audiences know and love. Using themselves as models, the artists leer, grin, and grimace at their own reflections so that they can recreate the right nuances of each look on paper.
In this charming set of photos, legendary animators from the 1940s to the 1960s can be seen making hilarious faces at themselves as they sketch beloved characters like Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, and Fred Flintstone. Working in famed studios like Walt Disney Production, Warner Bros, and Hanna-Barbera Productions, these artists brought to life many of the creations that defined the golden age of American animation, from Tom and Jerry to Lady and the Tramp.
Why start off with “Disney animators” when the first two photos are clearly not Disney characters, only for the last paragraph to point out that these are photographs from different studios?
